This week we’ve got another win for women’s football, fun games in the world of podcasts, breakfast time silliness, and a shake up on the hits network.

No doubt inspired by the success and popularity of this years Women’s World Cup, Talksport 2 is launching Women’s Football Weekly - a new show dedicated to the female game in the UK and across the world.

DAX, one of the biggest players in digital audio advertising, has signed an exclusive deal with Endemol Shine as they expand into podcasting. The first podcast from the TV giant is The Birthday Game, created and hosted by Richard Osman. As you’d expect from the creator of countless hit TV formats it’s an entertaining listen, so check it out on your favourite podcast app, and read more on the deal here.

Union Jack is breaking out of it’s usual presenter free format with a live breakfast show. They’ve scooped up some new talent to host it, and the fact that the presenter for a station that only plays British hits is called Adam English can’t have hurt.
